(New York City, New York, United States) – The NYC Greek festival will be taking place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church located at 302 W 91st St, New York, NY 10024.
The goal of this festival is to share the Greek culture with all those who attend. Guests will have a chance to eat homemade Greek food, tour the church, and watch dancing demonstrations put on by their dance troupe, who will be dressed in traditional clothing from Greece.
This is a one day festival that draws in visitors from New York and all over the surrounding area. Guests will have an opportunity to dance, eat, and in general enjoy the Greek culture.Additional festival highlights include Yiayia’s Attic (flea market), art, clothing, jewelry and gift boutiques, religious icons, and religious bookstore. Parishioner-guided tours of the church sanctuary take place hourly.
