Under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture, Education and Religion and of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad (Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
The Social Cooperative Enterprise “Ellada Pantou”, supported by the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal, present their action “Greece Allover” in Montreal, Canada, from 3 to 6 May 2016.
The activity consists of a fine arts exhibition by emerging artists from Greece, and a presentation of the Festival “Greece Allover” to the Greek Diaspora.
Twenty five Greek emerging artists view Greece, Culture and International Relations through their work and highlight the modern face of the art scene in Greece. More than 40 artworks are being presented, in an effort to establish a dialogue between Greek artists and Montreal art lovers.
At the same time, the concepts of Social Entrepreneurship and Social Economy will be presented to the attendants of the conference. The Festival and Actions of the Social Cooperative Enterprise “Ellada Pantou” will be used as a case study, to demonstrate the benefits that solidarity and collaborative actions can have on the Diaspora as well as on the local community.
The main purpose of this action is to investigate a broadening in relations between the two countries, by using Greek culture as a suitable vehicle. Also, to show that goods and services can be promoted from within a culture-based festival.
