“The Fateful Choice” Talk by Geoff Horrocks at the National Hellenic Museum Chicago

November 11, 2017

Geoff Horrocks, Emeritus Professor of Comparative Philology at the University of Cambridge, has made his academic career from the study and analysis of Greek, ancient, medieval and modern. In this talk he looks back over the last sixty years and reflects on how he first got involved with Greek language and culture, and why it is so important in this increasingly disturbing world to nurture and support the continued study of both.
