(Nafplio, Greece) – Nafplio in the Peloponnese of Greece announces that its music festival, which start on June 24, 2016 and go on until July 3, 2016. The festival attracts large crowds of people from all over the world and many look at it as a great reason to visit the Peloponnese, which was recently voted as the best travel destination in Europe by the Lonely Planet, who publishes guides to destinations all over the world.
The Music Critics of Greece have named this festival as being the best of its kind, as well, which gives people an even greater reason to visit. Venues include Vouleftikon, which was where the first Hellenic Parliament was located, Agios Yiorgios Square, and Nafplion Square. In addition to hosting performances, masterclasses are also part of the lineup. There will also be lectures taking place throughout the festival, including one about the Greek opera singer, Maria Callas. An exhibit titled, “Moments of Greece” is also on the schedule.
