(Greece) – According to the market research firm, Focus Bari, three out of five Greeks currently own a cell phone. Of those people, 44.8% of them use the phone mostly to connect to the internet. However, this percentage increases when analyzing younger age groups. The majority of all teenagers who own a cell phone are internet uses. The firm has also said that 76.9% of all Greeks use the internet and of these, around 67% of them use it on a daily basis.
The study also showed that 98% of those aged between 13 and 17 use the internet while around 88% of people aged 35 to 44 use the internet. The percentage decreases as people get older. This information was gathered based on research that was conducted from January of 2016 to March of 2016. Not only that, but they also found that Greeks spend an average of 3.5 hours per day online and and those who are aged between 13 and 24 are on about 4 hours a day.
