W-e-l-l... this is a "mature audience" book which I hope will get pickt up as a screenplay, as it's very visual. It combines tender elements with the somewhat crude and vulgar aspects of the greek playboy's life, as well as many insights into the seedy underbelly of organized crime -- the result of ALOT of research on my part (but don't forget it's part of daily news in Italy, where I live). Many conversations with Italian police. The storyline includes a lonely cop with his rescue dog, and a retired American couple traveling the world on their sailboat with a daughter -- who has Downs Syndrome. These people exist, of course, and I have their permission to include them in the story... which wasn't written since I met you -- in fact, it was completed in 2008, but has taken me a long time to edit 500 times, and grind down to a fine substance. Some readers tell me I need to add more, not subtract, but I envision it as being very "clean" and streamlined. I'd love to send you the first few chapters and YES absolutely I'll post a link here when it's ready. My antique laptop crashed last week and I'm in the process of transferring all my data to the new one.
