Everyone has been talking about the blue moon that occurred on August 31, 2012. A blue moon is the appearance of the third full moon in a season with four full moons. The term has also been used to refer to the second full moon in a month.

2018: January 2, January 31
2018: March 2, March 31
2020: October 1, October 31
