(London, England, United Kingdom) – A Greek language group for children aged from 12 months old to 30 months old will be meeting in London, England on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 1:15 PM to 4:00 PM (13:15 – 16:00). This group is designed to get kids to interact with the Greek language from a young age.
Participants will enjoy learning about Greek in an interactive and kid-friendly environment, which is designed to help make them feel unique and special. While it is possible to learn Greek from home, being in such an interactive setting can help speed up progress while making learning the language feel completely natural and not forced. This is also a great opportunity for parents to develop positive relationships with other Greeks who are living in the London area.
It is estimated that there are over 400,000 people living in the London area who were either born in Greece or who have Greek ethnicity. Groups such as this are a positive and fun way for the Greek community members to get to know each other and to also help their children learn about the Greek language and culture. For many of these families, there is a desire to teach them the Greek language in a positive way, which is at the core of this group’s mission.
Surbiton Halls is located on Ewell Road Surbiton in London, Kt6 6AG. The group will meet from 1:15 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants are asked to register and get tickets in advance because spaces do fill up. There will be a fee of 3 pounds per person that will be collected at the door. This fee will go towards paying for the venue. Once you register, you are asked to bring a copy of the form the day of the event. Although it is possible to register the day of this class, this isn’t advised since the spaces do fill up quickly.
