Show me some pics of Mykonos please...

It is as expensive as you want it to be. Don't go to the beaches where they ask 50 euro for a sunbed. We've been to town this year (and to Delos). It was allright. We ain't party people so don't know how much that costs. Restaurants and regular bars/coffeeshops are not too expensive and town is...

Islands to visit that are near Crete?

We went from Crete (Heraklion) to Santorini by ferry. ( 2 hours or so by highspeed). Santorini is one of the must sees, but touristy. I like it, but not everyone does.

    Is Santorini actually overrated?

Santorini has unique and spectacular views. It has history, amazing geology and very different beaches. I love it. Mykonos is flat. I like town and the opportunity to go to Delos, but we don't go to the party beaches or expensive restaurants Going there again this year, we will see how good...

There are no Taxis in Santorini!

There are enough taxis in Santorini. The way they work are just different from the way you are used to. They are not driving around to look for a ride or stand idily on a taxi stand. You call and book them just like you did. No fancy stuff with apps and credit cards. Just pick up a telephone...

    Paros is Santorinis cheaper cousin!

As much as I love Paros I completely disagree with this statement. Santorini has a geological history that none of the other islands have. If you are interested in that kind of things you can not say Paros and Santorini are the same.

What is the cheapest island in Greece?

Go to the lesser known islands like Andros, Tinos ( easy to reach from Athens ) or the smaller ones Amorgos, Folengandros, Sikinos ( travel time and costs are higher) and off season is always cheaper.

What place in Greece do you regret travelling to?

Don’t regret going to any island. Won’ t go to Iraklia again. Too small, but the people were friendly, the beach was good so no regret.

What place in Greece do you regret travelling to?

Stayed in Mykonos to go to Delos. That is a good reason 😉

Is there one ferry company in Greece that is better than the others?

The high speed ferries tend to be less reliable when it's windy ( they will have more delays) but the boats are all more or less the same. Which ferry you take depends on where and when you want to go. This year we went with Bluestar from Santorini to Paros (no delay), from Paros to Ios with...

Does transit through the Santorini airport take forever?

I don't know which transit you mean. Check-in is regular if you have filled in all the right documents and had your tests or vaccinations. When you haven't you will be requested to do so first and come back later. Customs was also regular. No waiting time when we went ( in the evening)

What is a typical price of a subbed in Santorini?

Even if .... I wouldnt spend it on a sunbed. Really Mykonos is too expensive.

Does Santorini tend to be more windy than other areas of Greece?

Andros, Tinos and Kefalonia tend to be the most windy islands. On every island you will always have some wind. Sometimes it's more and sometimes less windy. Yesterday (Friday) on Ios there was really no wind at all. On Monday it was very windy. So it changes.

I heard there are not many taxis in Santorini...what do I do?

As far as I know they do. This year they seem even more on time 😉

What is a typical price of a subbed in Santorini?

Price of sunbeds varies. Some it is just have a drink of the beach bar and beds are for free. We paid 3 euro per bed, 7 for a set or 10 for a set. Most expensive ones we have seen were on Ios, 50 euro for a hanging sunbed in a cool club.
