    Beautiful live music in Kefalonia

This is one of my favorite things about Kefalonia. I unfortunately don't know of any places to go, but music seems to be all around me when I go!

The Arch of Galerius is one of Thessalonikis most famous landmark

It just wouldn't be Thessaloniki without seeing this landmark! I always try to get a photo of it from different perspectives when I am in Thessaloniki.

What it is like living in Thessaloniki for a month

A tip - the video for some reason won't play on the forum but if you click "watch on youtube" it takes you there. The video was very good!

You should check out a PAOK soccer game at Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki

I agree, this is a great thing to do. The rowdiness and fighting aren't bad, it's just typical football culture. I have never felt unsafe here.

Should I still get a gift if I cant make it to the wedding?

I agree, I would send a gift, but keep it simple. Money or a direct deposit works. This is especially worth it if you're close to the people, like a close family member or close friend.

These are the top three beaches in Thessaloniki

I totally agree. When I am in Thessaloniki, I prefer the beaches that are a bit outside of the city. The ones close to the city are a bit too busy for my tastes.

Have you heard about the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki?

I haven't heard of it, but I agree that the museum, and the exhibit, both look worthwhile. Do you know i fit is Greek Culture and History in a general sense, or is it specific to Thessaloniki and Macedonia?

What is your preference for a Greek wedding: DJ or live music?

That's true! There's a lot of wonderful, Greek club hits too. Having both would appeal to all ages and interests.

    The new Hellenic Temples

This is fascinating. Are the temples modern, or are the practices still continuing into the modern day? I had no idea this was something that was going on ... it's intriguing! Hopefully someone will chime in who knows a bit more. I've never visited these places, but am thinking I want to add it...

What is your preference for a Greek wedding: DJ or live music?

I personally like a mix of both - a live band for the Greek music, and a DJ for dancing to popular music. So like, the DJ and Band taking turns. Or, if the band would just play a set of popular music on their breaks. Most "Greek" weddings I've been to have had a mixed crowd of Greeks and non...

    This bouzouki solo kills!

Wow, this is stunning. What great musicianship and talent - and I love Bouzouki music!

Best seafood restaurants in Crete so you can try Cretan snails!

You're right, snails are everywhere on Crete. I was walking through a small village near Agios Nikolaos and watched a woman collecting snails. It had just rained. We went to speak with her and she was saying that both snails and the carob trees helped the Cretans prevent starvation during WWII...

Calling all artists! Submit your documentaries to the Thessaloniki documentary film festival

I agree - this is one of my favorite things to do in Thessaloniki, and the film festival is a great one not only for Greece, but the independent film industry as a whole.
