Im concerned that more and more people are visiting Greece this year, particularly Santorini and that the restaurants will be full (especially the good ones). Is this the case? Should I be making reservations in advance?

I am not sure, before the pandemic we could just walk up to most restaurants and tavernas in Santorini and find a table without any issues. Now, I would either try to call ahead (if you speak Greek) or just show up a bit earlier and try to get a table.

Have fun in Santorini!

I don't think I have ever made a reservation in Greece. If you stay in a hotel, maybe you can ask them? They'll know the story, and they might be able to arrange something if it is necessary.

Have you ever heard of Santorini tomato fritters?

I had never heard of this until I stumbled upon this article. It sounds a bit strange but it's something that I'd love to try making, anything that from is from the island of Santorini sounds tasty to me. This is also a really good recipe for anyone who is fasting, or for anyone who is avoiding meat. I personally am a big fan of tomatoes and I will definitely be trying these out soon. What does everyone think?

What do you recommend for a three day trip to Santorini?

I'm thinking of only visiting Santorini for three days. My friends are a big history lovers and they want to spend most of our trip to Greece in Athens. But I convinced them that there's no way we're visiting Greece without visiting Santorini. So we decided on just three days, what are the must see things to do on the island? Any advice is much appreciated.

Donkey rides through Santorini

This is one of the main tourist attractions on the island! You can take a donkey all the way up or all the way down this long and twisty ledge. This is how the original islanders used to do it in the old days, and still do now!

Where to go shopping in Santorini Greece

Shopping in Santorini is one of the best experiences you can ever have because the shops are so unique and much of the stuff is handmade if you go to the right places. Santorini clothing has a very carefree and flowing vibe to it. Many of the clothes are white and made of linen, and match the colours of the island. The best places to shop is around Fira, the city center has the most ammount of stores and the greatest variety.
