Hiking while traveling is something that I am starting to do more and more, especially hiking to catch the sunset and sunrise. If anyone has any good recommendations on where I can go in Corfu to go hiking, I would really appreciate it. I have found that in traveling and hiking, there are many trails that are unmarked and can be a bit dangerous to hike. I personally prefer walking on trails that are marked and have clear pathways so that I don't get lost, especially in a foreign country. Thanks!

The Canal DAmour in Corfu is stunning

The Canal D'Amour is located in the Siari neighbhood of Corfu, which is wonderful for eating out at restaurants, watching the sunset, and of course swimming by the beach. The canal is a small inlet of water that is blocked off by two large strips of land on both sides. I have copied links so that you can know exactly what it looks like. The area here is so peaceful when it is not crowded and offers such a serene vibe. I highly recommend that you spend the whole day here and watch the sunset overlook the canal at the end of the night.

List of Great Beaches on Corfu?

I might visit Corfu this year and I love the beach. Are is a list of beaches:

- Sidari Beach
- Corfu Beach
- Agios Spiridon Beach
- Angelokastro Beach
- Paleokastritsa Beach

I know next to nothing about these beaches. Which are good? Did I miss any? If I only had time for a few of these, which would you choose?

Prioritizing Things to Do in Corfu

I want to do the following in Corfu - problem is I only have a few nights. Any advice on how I can prioritize?

- Old fortress
- Canal d'Amour
- Meander though old town
- Paleolastritsa beach
- Casa Parlante
- Archaeological Museum
- Nightlife - whatever I can find

Is this too much for 3 nights?

Corfu is getting a new marina

Im so happy to hear this news! The island announced that it will be building a much needed new marina. The tourism minister said that "the number of arrivals to Corfu in July increased by 19.7 percent over the same month in 2019 despite the global challenges" which is great. The marina will help manage the increasing flow of tourism and any other imports. If you want to learn more, check out this article.

Check out Agios Gordios beach in Corfu

Agios Gordios Beach is an award winning blue flag beach that is located on the western part of Corfu. It is very popular amongst families and all different types of tourists, and there are many different options for you to visit. Personally, I like to visit the organized beaches where there are beach lounge chairs and the option to order food and drinks. The water is pretty shallow so it's great for bringing small kids.
