This is a little known fact! Even though cheesecake in Ancient Greece is not like the New York cheesecake that we all know and eat today, the origins of cheesecake come from Ancient Greece. This actually makes total sense considering Greece has some of the best cheese and dairy from all around the world. Here is a recipe for Greek cheesecake. This recipe is super simple because it doesn't even need to be baked! Enjoy

These are the best Greek recipes that you can make in an air fryer!

Air fryers are super popular these days and I'm seeing so many recipes that use an air fryer! I recently got one myself, and I can say that I am loving it. I've tried out so many Greek recipes, and these are my favourites.

- Chicken souvlaki

- Spanakopita

- Lemon potatoes

Try and make this unique Greek fig and honey yogurt cake

This recipe is one of them most unique that I have ever seen! I have never tried making it, but I would love to. Has anyone eaten this or made it before? I'm not sure if its a common recipe in Greece. I love that this recipe uses olive oil and Greek yogurt, which I try to incorporate in as many recipes that I can.

Recipes using feta cheese!

These are the best recipes that you can make from feta cheese! You can also sprinkle feta cheese on pretty much anything, but I like to incorporate it into these :) I like to use Greek feta cheese brands like dodonis, it's a traditional Greek brand that they now sell in the US

1. Tiropita
2. Briam with feta cheese
3. Feta saganaki
4. Whipped feta cheese dip

How to make refreshing mussels saganaki for the summer

Mussels might seem like an intimidating dish to cook, but they're actually pretty easy. I like to get fresh mussels from a fishmonger or a grocery store when they are available. I make sure to clean them really well on the outside to get all of the sand out, and I boil them once until they open and quickly rinse them so any sand inside will escape. After that, I follow this recipe and they come out perfect!

How to make Greek chicken with okra!

This is one of those recipes that people either love or hate! Okra is super controversial but I personally love it. This is a traditional Greek recipe and has very simple ingredients: chicken, okra, tomato, onion, butter and spices. The first step you will need to take is cutting the ends off of the okra and washing it well with cold water. After that, you will need to sauté onions in a hot pan until they are soft and add tomato. Then, add any cut of chicken and your okra. Add in salt, pepper, one bay leaf, and cloves. Let the pot simmer on low heat for 45 minutes or until the chicken and the okra is tender. There you have it!
