Many people wouldn't think to visit a library on their vacation, but I do suggest stopping by just to check it out. Besides being a party town, Mykonos has so many beautiful aspects of Greek culture that shouldn't be missed out on. In the library, you'll be able to see many different books outlining the history and culture of Greece. The library is a historical municipal library, meaning that their books focus on preserving the history of Greece. The address to the library is Kampani 2, Mikonos (Kampani Mansion, Ag. Kyriaki Square, 846 00, Greece

Learning About the History of Mykonos?

While on Mykonos, are there places to go, or maybe even tours to take, that can help me learn abut the history of the place?

I know there are some museums, like the Archaeological Museum and the Folklore Museum, but aside from that, I am looking for places to go that will kind of bring the history alive. I do plan to visit Delos as a day trip, I know the history of that small island is connected to Mykonos. That's all I can think of, though. Anything you can tell me is very much appreciated!

Visiting Super Paradise Beach Advice

I visited Super Paradise Beach about ten years ago and really loved it. It had a nice energy - I love the beach and I loved the party atmosphere. I was there in June.

I want to visit Mykonos again sometime in the near future and I am curious - has it changed? I have been hearing stories of people going to Mykonos and not liking the experience, but I am not sure why. Some did say they thought it was too loud, some said it was expensive. It was loud and somewhat expensive back then but I still loved it. Have things changed or is it possible that the people who didn't like it simply didn't like the party vibe?

How expensive is Mykonos?

I won't be going this year, but I am starting to plan for next year. I plan to be in a Greece for at least a month and someone I am traveling with is adamant about wanting to experience some clubs in Mykonos.

I think it does look fun, but I am concerned with whether or not it is expensive. I heard it can get bad. We have a limited budget... can we navigate the expense of it, and find less expensive ways to enjoy it. Can we?

Taking a quick boat ride in Mykonos

Does anyone know the best way to take a quick boat ride when in Mykonos? I usually just walk around the shore and find someone (they usually bring their boats to a spot) but the last time I did that, I didn't like the boat! So I want to plan things in advance this time around. I plan to go to Mykonos soon.

The last boat had a glass bottom, and it freaked me out - I don't want to do that again.

Also, I am interested in Scuba diving but I know that is a bit more complicated to arrange than a boat ride. I might have to wait until I get there?
