I'm planning a trip to Mykonos and I'm on the lookout for some amazing spa experiences. I've heard that this beautiful island has some top-notch wellness centers, but I'd love to get some personal recommendations from those who have been there.

What I'm looking for in a spa:

I recommend the Santa Marina Resort's Ginkgo Spa. It offers luxurious treatments in a serene atmosphere with professional and friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed their signature Ginkgo massage and the revitalizing facial. The spa's location overlooking the Aegean Sea adds to the tranquility.

For the best experience, book your treatments in the morning or late afternoon to avoid peak times. Also, try their aromatherapy sessions – they’re fantastic! The spa offers great value for money, especially with package deals.
 
I tried Hotel Cavo Tagoo’s spa and it was amazing—pricey, but the view and massages were worth it. If you’re into wellness stuff, I started doing nad+ iv therapy in miami before my trip and I felt way more refreshed and energized while traveling. Made the whole spa and beach experience even better.

Worth going to Delos?

I’m considering doing a day trip to Delos while in Mykonos, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the time. I know it’s an important historical site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but is it really a must-visit?

For those who have been, did you find it impressive? How long did you spend exploring? I’ve heard there’s a lot of walking and not much shade—does that make it tough in the summer? Also, are the guided tours worth it, or is it better to explore on your own?

We’re considering adding Mykonos to our upcoming Greece trip and I’m curious about the food scene — especially when it comes to local dishes that are family-friendly. I know Mykonos has a reputation for high-end dining and nightlife, but we’ll be traveling with kids, so we’re hoping to experience some of the island’s traditional flavors in a more low-key, welcoming way.

Are there specific Mykonian or Cycladic dishes we should look for that tend to go over well with children? Maybe a favorite cheese, pie, or dessert that’s a local specialty but still kid-approved?

What's the Beach in Mykonos?

I visited Mykonos a few years ago and had the most amazing time—but now I’m trying to plan a return trip, and I can’t for the life of me remember the name of one particular beach I loved.

It had a relaxed vibe, not too crazy with the party scene, and there was a taverna right on the beach that served grilled fish and wine. I remember the sand was soft, the water was crystal clear, and it wasn’t packed like Paradise or Super Paradise. I think there might’ve been sunbeds, but it still felt low-key and not too commercial.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Maybe Ornos? Agios Ioannis? Or could it have been Agios Sostis? I wish I had taken better notes, ha!
