I want to take a trip to the village of Assos in Kefalonia to see what authentic Kefalonitiko life is like. Any advice?

Assos village is beautiful but TINY! I went to visit and I saw the whole thing in half an hour. It's not a bad thing...I just didn't expect it. I think it only has about 100 people living there.

You definitely need a car to get to the village, it's quite isolated and difficult to get to!

Assos is beautiful, and very small. You need a car to get there, but worth the trip x

Couple of hours, take it easy, go for a stroll, stop for a beer, just take in the scenery and watch the world go by, be Greek!

Assos Kefalonia us a beautiful little village. We often visit Assos and sit and have lunch at one of the traditional tavernas overlooking the harbour and pastel coloured buildings.

What can I do in Efimia Village in Kefalonia?

I was invited to a wedding near Efimia village in Kefalonia! I'm so excited to go this year, especially since I haven't left my hometown in forever. Do any Kefalonia locals know what I can do around the village? I'll be visiting with my husband (it's his nieces wedding)

Katelios beach in Kefalonia is the nicest beach on the island

What are the best monasteries to visit in Kefalonia?

My mother and I love visiting monasteries. Do you know any popular ones in Kefalonia that we could visit? I've only heard of Agios Gerasmios (in the picture below) and it's going to be the first stop on my list
