A friend of mine mentioned that her college-aged daughter is thinking about traveling to Mykonos on her own to meet up with some friends who will already be there. It got me wondering what the island is like for solo travelers, especially young women arriving independently before joining a group.
I've heard Mykonos is very popular with international visitors, but I'd love to hear from people who have actually experienced it. Did you feel comfortable getting around on your own? Was it easy to meet up with people and navigate the island? Are there any areas, accommodations, or transportation tips that would make the trip smoother or safer?
I'd appreciate any advice, things to watch out for, or recommendations that would help someone visiting Mykonos solo for the first time. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!
