I would love to cook an entire lamb on the spit this year, but one of my biggest concerns is that it probably takes so long to cook. Does anyone have any idea how long it would take a lamb to cook by the pound? And how heavy a medium size lamb usually is? This process seems so labor-intensive and a bit intimidating, so if anyone has advice I would greatly appreciate it. This would be my first time cooking the lamb on the spit.
