Rice pudding is probably one of the most classic and simple Greek desserts. It's eaten all over the world, and you can find many different variations. The Greek version is pretty simple and uses a basic version of white rice and whole milk. All you need to do is add cinnamon on top, and there you have it! Here is a video outlining exactly what you need to do.

This is how I make it! Except, I actually pour the rice pudding out into individual serving cups, rather than put it in a larger bowl.

Good grill seasoning for lamb?

I love the flavor of grilled lamb. I make grilled lamb two ways - either as a souvlaki or I will grill an actual leg. In the case of souvlaki, I marinate the cut up meat overnight in a ladolemono (oil, lemon, oregano, garlic usually).

I don't marinate the leg overnight, but I do brush it with ladolemono before grilling, and also during grilling.

Ay other ideas? I want to try something different but an option that is still Greek. Maybe just adding an herb or something? I open to suggestions.

Traditional Foods of Corfu?

I am headed to Corfu soon in early July and I am so excited! I have never been. I want to sample traditional foods. In most of Greece, some dishes were similar no matter where you go, and then there are some regional specialties.

Are there any regional specialties I should look for in Corfu?

Greek Fava Dip

So I use either green or yellow split peas in mine depending on what I can find. I love this dish, I make it a lot. How do you guys make it? Here are my ingredients:

- Split peas (I cook them and let them cool)
- Olive oil
- Shallot or onion
- Garlic
- Fresh lemon juice
- Salt, pepper, sometimes fresh parsley

I blend it all together. I don't use measurements and do this by feel.

What are your favorite Greek recipes to cook?

I love cooking, and I learned at a very young age. I love being able to share my Greek heritage with people. I have some favorite recipes to share with my non-Greek friends:

- Spanakopita - I have had so many people ask me how to make it!
- Tiropita - I don't actually have a set recipe - I always make it differently, and for me, that is part of the charm. It always has at last feta, though!
- Village salad - It is my favorite salad, and I only make it in the summer when everything is fresh, so it's a real treat
- Souvlaki - this is a crowd pleaser and a great addition to any barbecue!

How about you? What do you like to cook for Greek food?
