Information Needed on Canal D'Amor for a Date

Hi everyone! My partner and I are heading to Corfu soon with a small group of friends, but we’re hoping to sneak away for a little one-on-one time during the trip. We’ve heard about the Canal D’Amour and were wondering if it might make a good spot for a romantic date — maybe a walk, a swim, or even just to sit and take in the view.

Is it as picturesque and special as it sounds? Or is it more of a daytime photo-op spot?

We’d love to know if there’s a quieter time to go, any nearby tavernas for a cozy meal afterward, or anything else that would help us turn it into a memorable evening.

Canal D’Amour is definitely worth a visit—especially for a romantic escape during your group trip! It is quite popular during the day (lots of people snapping photos), but if you go early in the morning or close to sunset, it takes on a totally different vibe—peaceful, golden, and a little magical. The rock formations are stunning, and the legend that couples who swim there will stay together forever adds a sweet touch.

There’s a walking path above the cove that’s perfect for quiet conversation and gorgeous views. For food, check out The Wave or Aquarius—both are nearby, cozy, and have great local dishes with a view of the sea.

If you're looking to stretch the moment, bring a towel, a small bottle of wine, and just sit on the rocks while the waves roll in. It’s a lovely, simple way to reconnect. Highly recommend it for a couple’s moment!
