I noticed a lot of schedules aren't released yet for 2023? Or I could be wrong? I am wondering if it is too early to book for Greece for 2023. I have details that depend on schedule releases, such as ferries and even theater performances. So, I don't want to book when the timing is wrong, but I also don't want to miss out...

Does anyone know when the ferry schedules will be released? Has it been released and I just don't see it?

I think it might be out now. I could be wrong. Someone else hopefully will chime in. I found a schedule online but lost the link. Is it too early?

Book your airline tickets early , you will get a better deal. If you don't have a car you can book the ferry on the day, if you have a car pre-book. Book your accommodation as soon as you can.

Advice for Creating a Greek Itinerary?

I’m planning a 3-week trip to Greece and could use some advice on building the perfect itinerary. I know I definitely want to visit Kefalonia and Athens, but I’m torn about where else to go for my third destination. Should I add another island like Santorini, Crete, or Corfu, or stick to the mainland and explore somewhere like Delphi or Meteora?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on how to balance the time between these spots. How many days should I spend in each place? Are there any must-see attractions or experiences I shouldn’t miss?

Also, any tips on transportation would be really helpful! Should I rely on ferries, flights, or a rental car?

I want to soak in the culture, enjoy amazing food, and see both historic sites and natural beauty. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Recommendations on Greek Cruises?

I’m thinking about taking a cruise to explore the beautiful Greek islands, but I’m overwhelmed by all the options out there! I’d love some recommendations for Greek cruises that offer a mix of stunning scenery, cultural experiences, and authentic Greek food.

I’m particularly interested in smaller cruise lines or ships that give you more time to explore the islands, especially places like Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, and maybe some of the lesser-known islands. Are there cruises that include unique experiences like local cooking classes, wine tastings, or guided historical tours?

Also, I’m curious if anyone has tips on the best time of year to go, what to look for in a cruise line, or any “must-see” stops that I shouldn’t miss.

Which island to visit?

If you only had time to visit one of these islands which would you choose? I am in negotiations with my family to pick only one of these... There's 8 of us traveling and we each have different opinions.

1. Mykonos
2. Santorini
3. Zakynthos
4. Crete
5. Naxos

I am personally leaning towards Zakynthos or Naxos because I have never been... Thanks in advance!

10 Days in Greece - No Athens or Islands

I’m planning a 10-day trip to Greece and would love some help crafting an itinerary. I’ve already spent time in Athens and the mainland, so this time, I’d like to focus entirely on the islands or other unique coastal spots. I’m interested in experiencing beautiful beaches, quaint villages, local culture, and, of course, some fantastic Greek food!

I’m open to a mix of popular spots and lesser-known islands, and I’d love suggestions on which islands are must-sees and how long to spend on each one. I’m especially curious if anyone has tips on efficient ferry routes or if it’s worth flying between some of the farther islands. Also, any recommendations on accommodations or local experiences would be amazing!

Thanks so much for any advice or ideas you can share.

Public Transportation Mainland Greece

I’m planning a trip to mainland Greece and want to explore beyond just Athens. I’ve heard that public transportation, like buses and trains, can be a great way to get around, but I’m not sure how easy it is to navigate, especially as a tourist who doesn’t speak Greek.

Can anyone share tips on using public transportation in places like Thessaloniki, Delphi, or the Peloponnese? Are the buses and trains reliable and frequent, or is renting a car a better option for flexibility? Also, is there a good website or app for checking schedules and buying tickets in advance?

I’d love to hear about your experiences and any recommendations you might have for making the most out of traveling through Greece’s public transport system.
