Homemade phyllo dough it's not for those who are in a pinch. It takes quite some time, and it really taste best if you have the highest quality ingredients. I like to make it every once in a while when I have a bit of extra time and I really want to impress my friends and family. This recipe can be used for sweet and savoury dishes and I recommend using a touch of butter if you want to make it for sweet dishes. The olive oil that you use is really important, it's best to use extra-virgin olive oil that is made for cooking and not for salads and dressings.
