Rhodes has some of the most beautiful villages from any of the Dodecanese islands in my opinion. I love to roam around, take pictures and stumble upon quaint restaurants with amazing locals. This is just my personal list, and of course I'm sure there are many more villages that are equally, if not more beautiful.

1. Lindos
2. Faliraki
3. Theologos
4. Rhodes Town

All the places listed are tourist hot spots. To see a real Greek village go to Afandou , Archangalos,or Lardos. There are 46 villages on Rhodes each with their own charm

What to See in Rhodes for a 3-Day Visit

I’ll be visiting Rhodes for three days soon and would love some advice on the must-see attractions! I’m interested in a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty, but with only a short time, I want to make sure I hit the highlights.

What are the absolute must-visit spots that I shouldn’t miss? I’m especially curious about any hidden gems or local favorites that might not be in every guidebook. Also, any tips on the best way to plan my days to maximize my experience would be fantastic.

5 Day Itinerary for Rhodes Recommendation

I’m planning a 5-day trip to Rhodes and could use some advice on how to make the most of my time there. I want to experience a mix of history, culture, beaches, and local cuisine.

If you’ve been to Rhodes before, what would you recommend as must-see spots and activities? Should I spend more time exploring the Old Town, or are there other areas of the island that I shouldn’t miss?

I’m also interested in any tips on where to stay, great places to eat, and any hidden gems that might not be in the typical guidebooks.

Any advice on how to structure my days would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

30 November 2024 storm on Rhodes

Eating Like a Local in Rhodes?

When I go to Rhodes next I'd like to really dive into the local food scene. I always prefer eating where the locals do rather than sticking to touristy spots. I've heard that Rhodes has some amazing traditional tavernas and hidden gems when it comes to food, but I'm not sure where to start.

Does anyone have recommendations for authentic places to eat in Rhodes? I’m particularly interested in trying local specialties like moussaka, fresh seafood, and maybe some lesser-known dishes that I wouldn’t find in guidebooks. Also, if there are any tips on what times are best to go, or how to order like a local, I'd love to hear them!
