I’m planning a trip to Corfu soon and I’m hoping to rely mostly on public transportation to get around the island. I’ve read that the bus system is fairly extensive, but I’m a bit unsure about how easy it is to navigate, especially when visiting more remote areas or smaller villages.

Can anyone share tips on how to effectively use public buses in Corfu? Are there specific apps or websites that are particularly helpful for checking schedules and routes? Also, any advice on how reliable the service is, particularly during peak tourist season?

Also, if there are any other forms of public transport worth considering, I’d love to hear about those as well. I want to avoid renting a car if possible, so any insights on getting around the island efficiently that would help me.

If you’re comfortable with the bus schedules, you can definitely manage without renting a car. However, a car might offer more freedom, especially if you plan to explore off-the-beaten-path spots.
