I will be in Kefalonia soon and I was thinking of planning a sailing trip for part of it. I'm particularly interested in the best routes to take, must-visit spots, and any hidden gems that I might miss otherwise. Are there any special anchorages or quiet bays perfect for a peaceful night? Additionally, any tips on local regulations, safety precautions, or recommended marinas would be greatly appreciated. Sailing around Kefalonia is an incredible experience! I recommend starting with a route that includes Assos and Fiscardo—both offer charming villages with picturesque harbors. For peaceful anchorages, Antisamos Bay is a must-visit, known for its crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings. Vathy on Ithaca is another gem, offering tranquility and a glimpse into local life.

For a hidden spot, check out Koutsoupia Beach, accessible only by boat and perfect for a quiet stop. As for regulations, ensure you’re aware of local mooring rules, especially in protected areas.
