We’re considering staying in a villa on Mykonos because our group is fairly large, and it seems like it might be more practical (and fun) than booking multiple hotel rooms. I’ve started looking online, but honestly the number of options is overwhelming, and I’m not sure what the best approach is.

For those who have done this before, how did you find your rental? Did you go through a villa agency, booking platforms, or local contacts? I’ve read that location makes a big difference depending on whether you want nightlife, beaches, or something quieter, so I’m also trying to figure out what areas make the most sense. If you’ve stayed in a Mykonos villa with a group, I’d love to hear what worked or what didn't work, as well.

I checked the layouts and perks through armaniresidencesdubaipalm.com, and it gave me a clearer picture of what you actually get with these units. The added Armani Casa voucher and the stay at the Royal Atlantis made the offer feel more complete for me, especially if you’re already leaning toward that ultra-luxury lifestyle.

I stayed there during a long weekend with my dog, and finding pet friendly hotels melbourne that actually feel comfortable for both humans and pets is rare, but this one nailed it. The dedicated pet suite was super handy, and being so close to the MCG made getting around really easy. The pool and Cliveden’s all‑day menu were nice bonuses after busy days out.

It's good to know that there are some great options. Thanks for those of you who chimed in!

A villa can actually work really well for a group on Mykonos. A few friends of mine did this and said the biggest thing to think about was location, because it really changes the experience. If your group wants easy access to restaurants, bars, and nightlife, staying near Mykonos Town (Chora) makes things much simpler since most of the island’s dining and club scene is concentrated there.

Best beach clubs to visit in Mykonos?

I might be headed to Mykonos soon and I keep hearing that the beach clubs there are some of the best in the world. I’ve seen names like Scorpios, Nammos, and Paradise Beach Club pop up, but I’m not sure which ones are actually worth it versus just “tourist hype.”

I’m looking for a mix of good music, fun atmosphere, and ideally some great food and drinks, too. I don’t mind if it’s lively and a bit of a party scene, but I’d also love a place where you can relax by the water without it being overwhelming.

For those of you who’ve been, which beach clubs stood out to you? Are there any hidden gems beyond the famous names? Also curious if it’s better to reserve in advance or if you can just show up and find a spot. Thanks for any tips!

Pros and Cons - Mykonos Town vs Staying Outside the Center

I’ve been to Mykonos a few times and have always stayed close to the center of Mykonos Town. It’s been convenient, especially for walking everywhere, being near restaurants, and not having to think too much about transportation.

That said, I’m considering going again and wondering if it might be worth staying outside the center this time. I’ve never done it, so I’m not sure what the experience is like in comparison.

For those who have stayed in both areas, how did it differ for you? Did you find it more relaxing outside of Town, or did the added logistics make things harder? I’m especially curious about getting around at night and whether it takes away from the overall experience.

Would you choose to stay outside the center again, or do you feel like being based in Town is still the better option?

Best Mykonos Sunset Spots?

I’m starting to plan a trip to Mykonos and one of the things I’d really love to experience is a beautiful sunset, but ideally somewhere beyond the most crowded, obvious spots. I know places like Little Venice are famous for sunsets, but I’m wondering if there are quieter locations that still offer amazing views.

Are there beaches, viewpoints, or even small chapels or hillsides where you’ve watched the sunset that felt special? I’d especially love places that feel a bit more relaxed or off the beaten path, even if they require a short walk or drive to get there.

If you’ve been to Mykonos, where did you have your favorite sunset moment? Was it planned, or something you discovered by accident? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best Sunsets in Mykonos?

Much has been said about the sunsets in Santorini, and for the longest time I just assumed that was the place in Greece for sunset views. But recently, a friend came back from Mykonos and shared some absolutely gorgeous sunset photos, golden light over the water, soft colors, even the windmills in the background. I honestly had no idea Mykonos could look like that at sunset.

Now I’m curious if this is something people seek out there, or if it’s more of a hidden bonus compared to Santorini.

Do you have any favorite sunset spots on Mykonos? Are there specific beaches, viewpoints, or areas in town that really stand out? I’d love to hear recommendations before I start planning a trip.
