Is the beach close to the volcano?

This is a lovely beach. I am not sure how close it is to the volcano, in order to get to the volcanic area, my understanding is that you need to take a boat tour. Here's information about the volcanic area:

One thing I learned while visiting Santorini is that the tomatoes were quite the experience! They had a different shape and they were small and sweet. I heard that they were different because of the unique soil on the island.
I loved the tomato croquettes (domatokeftedes) and any dishes that involved tomato sauce. I found a pic of the tomatoes:

Santorini had a huge production of tomatoes, which was so big that they even have an industrial tomato museum that is open to the public. Santorini no longer exports as much tomato paste as it used to, I'm assuming because it became one of the most popular tourist hot spots in the entire world. The museum is located in the former D. Nomikos Tomato Factory, and I really suggest that you check it out!! Safe travels
