The secret some of the tastiest, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside loukoumades is cooking them twice! First, you need to slightly cook them until they are a pale brown and then set them aside for five minutes to slightly cool. After that, you can pop them back in the oil and cook them until they are hard and crunchy on the outside. This creates a beautiful texture and some of the best loukouamdes I’ve ever had!
