Lets be honest, good beaches are the most important thing for a good vacation :) These are some of the best in my opinion after doing some research and looking at a bunch of pictures: Crete, Santorini, Mykonos Zakynthos. Because Crete is such a big island, they have the most options and the most variety in the types of beaches

You right!
Milos has been named the “world's best island” by the readers of the US travel publication Travel & Leisure. Second on the list of 25 best islands around the world.
Look here the only webcamera from Milos .

Traveling from Santorini to Mykonos

I plan to go to Santorini this summer, but even tough I love it there, I suspect I will only want to spend a short time - just a few nights. I have some friends that actually live on Mykonos that I want to visit, so I am wondering the best way to go from Santorini to Mykonos? From what I understand, the ferry is pretty easy - is this true? I have only gone to Mykonos from the Athens airport and have never used the ferry to get on the island.

Things to Do in Rhodes Town

While on Rhodes over the summer, I decided to use Rhodes Town as a home base. I am researching fun things to do. I know about the usual things to see - the Knights of Saint John, Acropolis of Lindos, the old town area, and some museums.

What I am looking for are suggestions for things that are other outside of the box, or specific recommendations that personally meant a lot to you or that you enjoyed. I am so looking forward to this trip and I want t get the most of it!

Visiting Church of Saint Demetrios in Santorini

One of my favorite places to visit in Thessaloniki is the Church of Saint Demetrios. I heard he is the patron saint of the city?

When I went, I only just walked through and enjoyed the look and feel. I don't know much about it.

Would love to hear your opinions of this place, I will be passing through Thessaloniki in a few months and am hoping to catch a church Service. Last time I went, I just visited, there was no service going on.

Nice Islands Only Accessible by Ferry

I have been interested in going a bit "off the beaten track" in Greece. I have been told that one of the things to look for are islands that don't have an airport. Off the top of your head, can you guys think of some good ones?

Some possibilities: Asypylaia, Halki, Ikaria... I feel like there could be more.

I want the island to be quiet, but still with things to do ... like beaches, maybe a museum or two, some shopping, restaurants..

Spas in Athens?

I am passing through Athens in a few months – I will be in Greece for a while. I won’t be in Athens long, just a few days, and I think I want to visit a spa.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I am interested in more of like a Hamam experience, and maybe get a massage too.

I Googled some possibilities, but don't know anything about them: Hammam Baths Athens - Melidoni 1, Old City Hamam & Spa - Athanasiou Diakou 1, and Al Hammam Traditional Baths - Tripodon 16.
