I might go to Rhodes and would really like to visit the Ancient City of Kamiros while I’m there. I love exploring archaeological sites, and from the photos and information I’ve seen, Kamiros looks fascinating. I’m especially interested in seeing the layout of the ancient city and learning more about what daily life would have been like there.
For those who have visited, do you have any tips for making the most of the experience? How much time would you recommend allowing to explore the site without feeling rushed? Is there enough information posted around the ruins, or would it be helpful to read about the history beforehand or bring a guidebook?
I’d also love to know about practical details, such as the best time of day to visit, how much walking is involved, and whether there are any other nearby places worth combining with Kamiros on the same day.
