I love to browse all of the amazing leather shops and buy gifts for my friends back home! What are your favorite things to do in Monastiraki?

Shopping is definitely the best part of Monastiraki! It has some of the best handmade stores and great opportunities to buy authentic souvenirs and gifts for people back home

I agree, you definitely want to shop in Monastiraki! There are individual stores, but you should also visit the flea market. This is one of the most entertaining things to do in Athens because you can pretty much find anything at the flea market.

The acropolis museum is the best blend of modern and ancient architecture!

I love how the acropolis museum blends modern and ancient architecture. Just look at how the two are juxtaposed! Let me know if there are any other cool architecture spots in Athens!

Is Athens safe for teens to explore alone?

My kids speak decent Greek and I'm wondering if it's safe to let them leave the hotel and explore the city on their own. They're 16 years old. Do you have any advice?

What are the most beautiful churches to visit in Athens?

I'm in the holy spirit but pretty sad that we in Athens can't leave the house to attend church services. I've only been living here for a little while so I haven't gotten the chance to visit many of the churches. What are your favorites?
