Some of my buddies and I are considering going to Greece for my friend's bachelor party, but we're not really sure what the best island would be. We're not super young, most of us are in our mid 30s so we're not very interested in going clubbing every single night. Something relaxing would be great, with a pretty decent night life that is not too crazy, again. Do you have any advice?

Crete! It has something for everyone. You can go to a bar, a club, a beach, go on a a hike, eat great food, drink great wine, and on and on. The island is big and self sustaining and you can form the bachelor party that is best for what you guys want to do.

I really liked the Tyre and Ios islands when I was in Greece. There I learned what real parties and raves are. Actually, I'm not the most experienced dancer or raver. I always feel embarrassed in clubs because it's awkward for me to dance. But rave is a slightly different party format, in which the music differs from the usual club mixes. Raves are places where you can disappear into the crowd and merge with the neon light. If you fly to Greece, make a great rave there, guys. I know a resource with many ideas on what to wear for a rave party. Write to me in PM, and I will share. Greece is a paradise, so you'll like it.

Thank you, guys! I will think about all that you said and try to decide something.

Art Galleries in Kythira?

I heard there are some great galleries in Kythera because the island is filled with artists.

Is this true? If it is, can you recommend any?

I found information for two places online – Follow Your Art Gallery in Kapsali and Zeidoros Art Space, also in Kasali.

Any info you have about these places and anywhere else is much appreciated.

Which Ancient Greek Plays Should I See Live?

I want to catch a live theater performance while in Greece this summer. There are some choices! Which Ancient Greek plays are worth seeing in general? Has anyone seen any? I know the Epidaurus theater has some performances. There's one from Aristophanes Called The Wasps that I might go to. I have never heard of it, has anyone seen it?

Hiking in Athens on Vacation

I decided that the next time I go to Greece, I want to go on a lot of walks or hikes. I know I could always meander anyplace I visit - either walk around a neighborhood or by the beach, etc. I am more interested in finding some great walks or hikes in or near Athens.

I saw that Mt. Lycabettus was recommended somewhere on this forum, and I saw that someone said to go during sunset. Is there anything else like that in or near Athens?

Spas in Athens?

I am passing through Athens in a few months – I will be in Greece for a while. I won’t be in Athens long, just a few days, and I think I want to visit a spa.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I am interested in more of like a Hamam experience, and maybe get a massage too.

I Googled some possibilities, but don't know anything about them: Hammam Baths Athens - Melidoni 1, Old City Hamam & Spa - Athanasiou Diakou 1, and Al Hammam Traditional Baths - Tripodon 16.

27.8 million tourists visited Greece in 2022 and spent 618 euros per trip on average !

Having worked in Tourism Industry for many years I am sceptical about the type of data....the most interesting take for me is the average spending per trip which is so low!....by this I mean should all the high end Greek destinations are excluded Greece is an extremely affordable and excellent place to visit and more importantly should any one have additional time and can afford to spend their spare cash..... Greece is the word!❤️❤️..
Not surprised US inbound figures are so positive!.....and will be even better this coming season!!
