The airport rail will take you all the way into Athens. Just make sure you are aware of everyone around you and keep your luggage close to you. Otherwise, should be all good! I've used this before and haven't had a problem.

Rail or bus are easy, there are buses that will take you directly to Syntagma square and the rail can take you directly to join the metro

Do you recommend taking a guided tour of the Acropolis?

Should I take a guided tour or do you recommend just going up on my own?

What part of Athens is not worth visiting?

People have been recommending so many amazing places to visit but i’m wondering if there’s something I should take off my list (I only have a couple of days). So in your opinion, which area of Athens didn’t meet your expectations and you wouldn’t really visit again? No need for hate here!! Just trying to plan LOL

ATHENS AND EPIDAURUS FESTIVAL 2021

The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is regarded as the best-preserved ancient theatre in Greece and famous for its perfect acoustics. It was constructed in the late 4th century BC with a capacity of more than 12,000 spectators.
Audiences can also expect performances by the Greek National Opera, Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Lena Platonos among others.

How I miss my Mana mu Elllada for all the cultural events taking place all through the summer! One of my favourite all time singers Eleftheria Arvanitaki
🌻💕❤️❤️

Be careful: several areas of north Athens have wildfires
