Is it windier and colder at night in Corfu? And what is the weather like these days...I know that climate change is making the weather wonky all over the world.

From what I understand it's cooler than say, the island of Crete, but it's still warm this time of year. Perfect beach weather!

Crete is further south, so it can get pretty hot. I find the temperature on Corfu to be perfect!

Also the higher elevation you are on a specific island can make things a bit hotter!! Crete is definitely too hot for me sometimes

How to eat authentic food in Corfu, Greece!

Nothing is better than trying out authentic Greek food in Corfu. The best thing you can do, is make friends with locals and try out some local dishes like sofrito, pastitsada, and savoro. Like many different foods in Greece, Corfu has some of the best and freshest seafood so I highly recommend trying out any seafood dishes!! Let me know if you like this video :)

Check out Agios Gordios beach in Corfu

Agios Gordios Beach is an award winning blue flag beach that is located on the western part of Corfu. It is very popular amongst families and all different types of tourists, and there are many different options for you to visit. Personally, I like to visit the organized beaches where there are beach lounge chairs and the option to order food and drinks. The water is pretty shallow so it's great for bringing small kids.

Have you ever thought to visit Corfus aquarium?

Corfu has a wonderful aquarium that should definitely be on your itinerary when visiting the island. One of the best parts of the aquarium is that you're able to take an underwater cruise through a submarine that has glass where you can look through and see all of Greece's beautiful marine wildlife. It's a great trip for a young couple or anyone with kids looking to explore and learn about Greece's marine life. Here is a link for anyone interested.

Corfus strange yet fun tradition of smashing pots on Holy Saturday

Greeks seem to have an obsession with smashing pots! Opa! In Corfu, there is an old tradition that is near and dear to my hear called Botides. This is when people smash pots filled with water from their windows and balconies on Holy Saturday. In the Greek Orthodox religion, Holy Saturday is when the first resurrection, when Christ brought salvation to the dead. The tradition of Botides is most popular in Corfu, but can also be seen in other parts of Greece.
