The Local Favour

New member
Hello all! 👏

The Local Favour is a fresh startup that aims to bring together travellers with real Greek experts, ready to share their local insight.

We are currently in the research process so we prepared a (short, we promised) survey to know better your needs, wants and preferences.

We don't ask for your name and email, but if you would like to receive a promo-code, make sure to send us a message through this forum or through our chat service.

So, this time do us the favour and let us know a little about yourselves by filling in the Traveller Survey.

Tickets to Greece are very cheap at the moment for flights before Christmas!

I was browsing for flights to Greece, as I always do, and they're super cheap right before Christmas! I'm thinking of traveling Dec 6-20 because everyone at my company takes their vacation from Dec 23-Jan 2 so there's basically no work to do anyways!! Is anyone thinking of hopping on these deals?

Tourism Minister: The goal is for Greece to become a 12-month destination!

This has been talked about for over 50 years now!!.....In fact it did happen back in 1972/3.... After that it is a long story of not happening....I hope this time around it really does happen.... beginning with Rhodes, Crete, and Athens.....and Haragova for Winter Ski Holidays.🎿....🇬🇷🇬🇷!

Taking cash to Greece

I tried to google it however I am not sure if the information has changed due to Brexit or not so Thought I'd ask here

My sister is visiting me in the UK , she will be travelling back to Greece soon. I wanted to give her cash for her and her family for Christmas however I am not sure how much cash can she actually carry or what is the limit that needs to be declared at customs.

In case it matters, she does not have Greek nationality.

Thank you
