I live in Toronto but I would love to watch some of the Greek TV shows that other users have recommended. Where do you all watch your Greek tv outside of Greece?

I live in Toronto as well, and there is a service that connects you, directly with the homeland, you pay monthly, and once in a while you have to call for service cause it goes of line, and they reinstall it.

Same here! That is exactly what I do. I can always find something that way. I am thinking of buying a service, but I don't think I feel ready to invest in that yet.

Would Love to Experience the Greek Kalanda Tradition!

I would love to experience the Greek Kalanda tradition for myself in Greece. Does anyone have any advice on how to make that happen this year? I plan to go to Greece in a few weeks to visit some people and hope to see this first-hand. It seems like a really great tradition.

Celebrating Greek Name Days

What do people here do to celebrate their name days? Most people barely even remember all the name days, and last year I almost forgot about it. But I know that some people love to honor their name day. I am curious what people do. I have a friend who tries to go to church if there is a service. Other friends go out for dinner, as if they are celebrating a birthday.

Finding a Wedding Planner in Greece?

I decided to do a destination wedding in Greece. I mentioned in an earlier thread that I am not an Orthodox Christian but have decided on the Athens area because I think there are some great photo opportunities all over the city and it is a bit more accessible. Anyway, I know I need help getting everything organized. How does one go about finding a wedding planner in Greece who can help?
