This is one of my favorite spots in the city!! Constructed in 1444 by Murda II, Bey Hamam is an Ottoman Bathhouse. It is located east of Panagia Chalkeon on Egnatia Street.

Bey Hamam

Built in 1444, Bey Hamam is the oldest off all the Ottoman baths in Thessaloniki and one of the most important buildings that integrate Ottoman architecture. It is located in the center of the city north of Aristotelous Plaza right across the paleo-christian temple of “Panagia Halkeon”.

I want to do something festive this year in Greece. I am going to be in Thessaloniki for a short time and I heard that there is actually a Christmas market? Is it any good?

I heard the market is in Aristotelous Square, but that's all I know about it. I am assuming there will be vendors and things to buy - maybe I can do some Christmas shopping here?

I'm planning a trip to Thessaloniki soon and I've heard a lot about the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle. It seems like a place with rich historical significance and I'm keen on exploring more about the region's history through this museum.
