(Paliouri, Halkidiki, Greece) – The Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort in Paliouri, Greece is scheduled to open its doors for the first time on May 27, 2016. Paliouri, which is a village that is located in the Halkidiki region of Greece, is known for its beautiful scenery and thermal waters. There are also some stunning beaches in the area.
The Miraggio Resort is unique because it is the only one of its kind to be located right next to the sea. This means that resort guests can enjoy a full wellness vacation while also spending time underneat the beautiful Greek sun. It is one of those places that will attract people who are interested in traveling to a beautiful destination that will help enhance their own health.
One of the things that sets this region apart is its abundance of healing waters. While it had always been possible to bathe in the waters, the area needed a thermal resort to help enhance the experience. The resort is two floors and features several opportunities to enjoy the waters, such as a large thalassotherapy pool that draws its waters directly from the sea. In addition, there are four additional thermal pools, each with unique properties. There are also steam baths, a Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, cold plunge, and tepidarium. There is also a walking path and two showers that will deliver unique experiences.
When booking your trip, you have a few options. There is the standard “half board” where guests will be able to enjoy a few meals on the premises each day. Amanda Hamilton, the healthy chef at the Mriaggio, will also offer a “healthy board” with menu items that will enhance your health and even provide some detoxification. The Times has called Amanda Hamilton “The Queen of Detox.”
In addition to using all that the thermal spa has to offer, as well as enjoying some delicious meals, guests can also participate in the resort’s fitness retreats. Guests can enjoy tailored fitness retreats with specialists who will develop a unique workout just for you.
The Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort has 300 rooms, and 236 of these rooms face the Toroneos Gulf and 48 of these rooms have private pools. Guests can choose from Double Rooms, Junior Suites, Family Suites, and Deluxe Duplex Suites which all have private pools and sea views. The hotel is no accepting reservations in anticipation of its grand opening.
