Ive been seeing halloumi at a lot of non-Greek supermarkets and restaurants. Of course, there are many traditional ways to use halloumi cheese but I am only aware of the ones that I've seen in restaurants. Since I am not Greek, I'll be sharing some of the ways that I'd like to use halloumi cheese. I love to grill the cheese and squeeze lemon on top to put in my salads with pear, spinach and goat cheese. I also like to add it in sandwiches with cold cuts as well as frying it and eating it with my eggs in the morning. If anyone has any other ideas or a traditional recipes, I would love to know!
