I don’t recommend seeing all the monastery in one day . go early in the morning depending on the ones you visit they are not long to walk up some are very quick from main Entrance. My family is from there and we go every year to see them.

Yes and it’s so easy to make. You grab a starter from another yogurt like fage grab a gallon of milk bring to a boil ,let rest until you can hold your pinky finger in it and count to 16 with out it burning you, melt in your starter, find a Tupperware with lid, pour mixture in it, find a blanket...

Many people don’t go to the beach in Thessaloniki because an hour a way there is Halkidiki which has two legs of amazing beaches, it’s worth the ride to check it out.

Traditionally in Greece many of the guests don’t give money but may buy an outfit from a retail store for the baby. I baptized both my children there and was given clothes and a few people gave me leather binded albums for baptism pictures. Good luck!
