Live plays are one of the oldest Greek traditions practiced in Athens!! There are so shows many especially during the summer time where you'll be able to see very talented and sometimes even famous Greek actors. Many shows will be held in Athens, but you can also catch some at the Epidauros theater and various theatres around the country. Some of the best theatres in Athens are...

1. Εθνικό Θέατρο
2. Θέατρο Badminton
3. Ωδείο Ηρώδου του Αττικού

I have seen a number of theatre and opera productions at Ωδείο Ηρώδου του Αττικού. I image I am living 2,000 years ago and imagine who has come to this theatre to watch a performance.

I haven't seen a play at Epidavros because it is not easy to get to from Athens. I would very much like to one day though.

Yeah....I've only been with a car. There is a bus but it takes forever and you would likely have to stay at a hotel for one night. Not sure if iy would be worth it

Athens airport question...

There's a group of us going to Athens and our flights get in the same day, but at different times.

Is there an easy spot to wait for the rest of our group outside of security, like a cafe or restaurant, or even an area with chairs to sit... I have only been to this airport once, and I don't remember any details about what happens after security.

Should you come to Athens in the winter?

Unique Photo Spots in Athens?

I will be traveling to Athens this year in the spring. What are some great photo spots throughout the city? Aside from what inspires me?

I have a bad habit of forgetting to take pics while away and I come back from the vacation with a random collection. This time, I want to do some advanced planning. Some of my ideas:

- Parthenon/ Acropolis - A shot with people and the Parthenon in the background
- Food photos - plenty of shots with people - and table shots - and of myself - eating the delicious food
- Monastiraki - This place is full of life - there could be some great candid shots

Do you guys have any ideas?
