I recently picked up a bag of kritsinia from the store on a whim, and now I can’t stop thinking about them! They were light, crunchy, and just salty enough to make them addictive with my morning coffee. I’m curious, has anyone here tried making them at home?
Part of me thinks it might be worth learning, since I love baking and it would be fun to experiment with different seeds or seasonings. But another part of me wonders if it’s tricky to replicate that perfect crunch that makes kritsinia so satisfying. Do you need special techniques or ingredients, or is it as straightforward as mixing a dough, rolling, and baking?
If you’ve tried baking kritsinia yourself, I’d love to hear how they turned out, and whether they’re worth the effort compared to the store-bought version. Any favorite recipes or tips?
