So frustrating...
Just read this,I have just had my Pfizer vaccines which are donated by USA to THAILAND, UK (As I have a UK passport) does not recognise ANY VACCINES ADMINISTERED IN THAILAND......And if one wishes to travel as my wife said that a friend of hers sent her daughter to University there, she had to be revaccinated again and stay in Quarantine for 10 days at their own expense...??I....And I am writing this on my hammock here watching the rainfall....Do we need this stresses in our lives?..
oh I forgot my wife has mix and match vaccines so she will need 3 more if we ever wish to go to good ol'England again....??.. You can see the funny side....I have been in some horrendous situations in my life time, but this takes the biscuit....Give me Papadopoulos any day and my Mana mu Elllada!❤️❤️....And I love our lives and a beautiful home in Thailand too!.... If any one is ever thinking of coming this way look us up, you will be surprised how hospitable and welcoming we are! Kalley Mera ollus!❤️❤️

It is really unfair for people who are not in Europe or North America. Everyone should have access to vaccines to be healthy and safe. There is so much bad distribution and countries have to fight and bargain for safe vaccines. I wish nothing but health to you and your family. Greetings from Montreal :)

Efgharisto polee, Kalley Mera sas!❤️....Did you know the average true cost of vaccines varies country to country?I had look at the WHO's vaccines pricing and distribution website...The poorer countries have to pay more!? .... Example a few
months ago Uganda would have to around $8 for a shot, the vaccine would cost $2 in USA,UK and Europe, did you see the Global Citizen concert?,it was all about freeing up patented rights of vaccines which the Pharmas are controling.

People shouldn't even have to pay for vaccines in the first place!! They are a human right and for many people are the difference between life and death. Extremely unfair, I am so sad to read this

Another true story,a lovely young girl who used to work part time in my wife's cake shop now lives in Bangkok.... applied online, prepaid for Moderna vaccine.... Not available....... Vaccinated elsewhere in state vaccination center..... still waiting for refund the original payment after 6 months..!And yet I would be glad to pay full price as I can afford it, they refused to accept from me..!??.

A Greek Architect’s Guide to Choosing a Professional CT Limo Service

I’m originally from Greece and work as an architect, and due to a recent job rotation, I’ve relocated to Connecticut for corporate projects. Since I’m still getting familiar with the area, I’ve been researching reliable CT limo service options for business travel, airport transfers, and professional meetings. I’ve noticed there are several technical factors people often overlook, such as fleet maintenance standards, chauffeur training, proper licensing, insurance coverage, and real-time ride tracking, all of which seem important for safety and reliability. I came across Wood Black Car Service during my comparisons, which piqued my curiosity about how different companies manage their operations behind the scenes. For those who regularly use limousine services in Connecticut, what features or standards do you think matter most when choosing a truly professional provider?

Best Greek Destinations for History Lovers

I’m thinking about planning a Greece trip next year that is focused almost entirely on history, and I’d love some ideas for the best places to include.

Athens would obviously be part of the itinerary for the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, museums, and other archaeological sites. I’m also considering Delphi, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Olympia, and maybe spending more time exploring the Peloponnese. Meteora is on my list too, although that would add a different type of historical experience.

I’m especially interested in places where you can really spend time exploring rather than just stopping briefly to see one major site.

If you were planning a history-focused trip to Greece, which destinations would you consider essential? Are there lesser-known archaeological sites, historic towns, museums, Byzantine sites, or ancient ruins that deserve more attention? I’d also love suggestions for putting together an itinerary without trying to cover too much ground.

Favorite small towns in Greece?

I realized recently that some of my favorite places in Greece haven’t actually been the major destinations everyone talks about, but smaller towns that just had a completely different atmosphere to them.

Sometimes it’s a mountain village with one main square and old stone houses, other times it’s a tiny coastal town where everyone seems to know each other and life moves slower. A few of the places I still think about most weren’t even places I had originally planned to visit.

I’m curious what small towns or villages have really stayed with people after traveling in Greece. Could be because of the scenery, the food, the people, the history, or just the overall feeling of the place.

Would love to hear everyone’s favorites, especially places that don’t always make the typical travel lists.

Best food towns to visit in Greece?

I’ve started realizing that some of my favorite memories from Greece are connected to food more than anything else. Little tavernas, bakeries, seafood by the water, village meals that seemed simple but tasted incredible. It’s making me think that next time I go to Greece, I’d love to plan at least part of the trip around food.

I’m not fully sure yet if I’ll be going this summer, but I’ve been daydreaming about possible places to visit. What towns or regions in Greece do you think are especially great for food lovers?

I’d love recommendations for places known for traditional cooking, local specialties, seafood, baked goods, or just amazing tavernas in general. Islands, mainland towns, mountain villages — all recommendations are welcome.

Would especially love hearing about places that felt authentic and memorable rather than overly touristy.

First Time Tips to Greece

I've been fortunate enough to visit Greece quite a few times over the years, and recently a friend asked me for advice before their very first trip. It surprised me how difficult it was to answer!

Once you've traveled somewhere often, you start taking a lot of things for granted. I'm not sure what the most helpful tips would be for someone experiencing Greece for the first time.

If you were helping a first-time visitor, what advice would you give? I'm thinking about practical things, cultural etiquette, transportation, money, restaurants, pacing an itinerary, or even little things you wish someone had told you before your first visit.

What are the biggest mistakes first-time visitors make, and what are some experiences you think every newcomer should have? I'd love to pass along some advice from people with firsthand experience.
