I am planning a trip to Crete, specifically to explore the ancient Minoan palaces, which have been on my bucket list for years. I've always been fascinated by the history and myths surrounding the Minoans, and I'm eager to see the remnants of this great civilization first-hand. By far the gold standard is to visit Knossos Palace, and I would also add in a visit to the Archeological museum in Heraklion, which has many of the frescos and artifacts found at Knossos.

Other than that, all the sites are with a visit. For example, Malia is structured in a similar was Knossos Palace, but a bit smaller. It's fascinating to look into the culture.
