Where to go hiking in Mykonos

You don't usually think that Mykonos is good for hiking, but there are some great spots. Here are some of my favorites:
platys gialos, psarou beach, agios siostis, and hiking near armenistis lighthouse.

Are these recommendations for serious hiking? Or just long walks in nature? Will I need hiking boots?

Behind Kalafatis beach up to the hidden air base.....on top of Kalo Livadi beach and over to Elia beach....... Behind Ano Mera towards Agrari beach, stunning views......the road from the light house coming towards the Tourlos port..... breathtaking views of Tinos and Syros ...... road from Kivotos Hotel in Ornos opposite Santa Marina.... just a few!...

Safe with training shoes.... when I spent winters there,I wore hiking boots because more comfortable to do so..... Enjoy, let me know your experiences!..... Good Morning from Thailand and monsoons beginning...

Thank you for sharing your insights about hiking in Mykonos! I always feel the most comfortable in regular hiking boots since the terrain isn't always ideal for other shoes.

True,I always imagined people asking these questions for summer time and not winter when it is really pleasurable and without any travellers, weather conditions Ideal for taking a picnic with some wine and cheese, olives, some freshly baked bread.... that sort of thing and just dream and go as faraway as one wants taking in the views and letting all else go !
