    Emporio village is only about 12 kilometers from Fira and it is incredibly close to the village of Perissa. I would recommend hiring a taxi or taking public transportation to get to the village.

    My neices travel alone often and they would feel pretty safe. I think it also depends on their own comfort and confidence level. Do they travel alone often? Are they used to handling stressful or unsafe situations?

    Airbnb or hotel in Greece?

    Airbnb always! I feel like they're more worth it and much more comfortable to stay in. If you're traveling in a big group you can get a bigger airbnb and split the price between everyone and it'll be more worth it.
