I'm planning a family vacation to Mykonos and would love some recommendations on the best family-friendly beaches. With a couple of toddlers in tow, I'm looking for beaches that are not only beautiful but also safe for the little ones to play around and paddle in the water.

Additionally, amenities like clean restrooms, nearby places to grab a bite to eat, and shaded areas would be a huge plus. We want to avoid the party scenes and opt for more serene spots where we can build sandcastles and enjoy the waves without too much worry.

If anyone has experiences or suggestions they'd like to share, I'm all ears! What beaches in Mykonos have you found to be particularly good for families? Any tips on the best times to go, or advice on must-bring items?

There are a few options for beaches on Mykonos that appear to be family-friendly to me, but I am not 100% sure. When I visited them, I wasn't with my family, just merely observed that families were there:
  • Paradise Beach
  • Super Paradise Beach
  • Ornos Beach
  • Agios Ioannis Beach
  • Psarou Beach
Hopefully someone else can chime in!

Finding Luxury Accommodations in Mykonos?

I am looking for recommendations on luxury accommodations. I'm interested in staying somewhere with stunning views, excellent service, and top-notch amenities. Ideally, I'd like a hotel or villa that's close to the main attractions but still offers some privacy and relaxation. Any specific hotels or areas you would suggest? Additionally, are there any booking tips or websites that offer great deals on luxury stays in Mykonos? Your advice and personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

This trip is not for this year, it's for next year. I thought maybe I would try going this year, but I don't think I have enough time to find something I'll really like.

Adventure activities in Mykonos

I'm planning an upcoming trip to Mykonos and I'm looking for some recommendations on adventure activities to do while I'm there. I know the island is famous for its beaches and nightlife, but I’m interested in exploring its adventurous side.

What are some must-try activities for thrill-seekers? Are there any specific water sports, hiking trails, or unique experiences you would recommend? Also, any tips on the best places or companies to book these activities with would be greatly appreciated.

I’d love to hear about your personal experiences and any advice you have for making the most of an adventurous stay in Mykonos. Thanks!

Is Mykonos worth visiting if you’re not into partying?

I’m planning a trip to Greece and considering Mykonos, but I keep hearing it’s mainly a party island. The thing is—I’m not really into clubbing or wild nightlife, so I’m wondering if it’s still worth visiting.

I love beautiful scenery, great food, and exploring charming towns. I’ve seen pictures of Mykonos Town with its whitewashed streets and Little Venice, which look amazing. But is there enough to do for a more relaxed trip? Are there quieter beaches or hidden spots away from the party crowds?

For those who have been, would you recommend Mykonos for someone looking for a laid-back experience? Or would another Greek island be a better fit?

Solo Travel Tips to Mykonos

I'm planning a solo trip to Mykonos and would love some tips and advice! As a solo traveler, I'm looking for recommendations on:
  • Safe and comfortable accommodations
  • Must-visit beaches and attractions
  • Best times to explore Mykonos Town and take photos
  • Great places to eat and try local cuisine
  • Fun activities for solo travelers
  • Tips for navigating the island and using public transport
  • Any solo travel safety tips specific to Mykonos
I appreciate any insights or personal experiences you can share to help make my trip enjoyable and memorable. Thanks in advance for your help!

Is Delos Worth a Day Trip?

I’ll be spending a week in Mykonos soon and was wondering if a day trip to Delos is worth it. I’ve always been intrigued by its history as a sacred island and its connection to Greek mythology, not to mention the ruins I’ve seen in photos look incredible.

Since it’s so close to Mykonos, it seems like an easy trip, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been there. Are the archaeological sites as impressive in person as they seem? How much time do you realistically need to explore the island without feeling rushed?

Also, is it better to book a guided tour or just go solo? Any tips on the best way to get there and what to bring?
