Kokkinisto is a classic Greek recipe that is slow stewed beef with tomato sauce. You can use beef, but the recipe can be made with pretty much any meat that you like. The meat can be served with any shape of pasta, rice, or bread or even eaten on its own or with veggies if you're trying to avoid eating wheat or carbs. I like to cook mine in the slow cooker and make it as slow as possible because that way it's more tender as possible.
