What do you all recommend? I usually use taxis when I'm in Athens but I've never been to Rhodes before so I'm not sure what my game plan should be

My thought is I always rent a car in Greece. The driving can be tough in the city since there are so many people, cars and lack of parking (in Athens), but having the freedom to explore is so much fun!

Enjoy your trip to Rhodes!

If you prefer getting a rental car usually, then I would recommend one. Taxis are harder to use on islands and are really only beneficial if you're in Athens or Thessaloniki

I've done it both ways- rented a car and also taken a taxi. Sometimes I don't even need a car, it all depends on the situation. One time, I had a trip where I took both approaches. I knew I wanted to visit a certain historical site that was a bit of a drive from my hotel, so I got a rental for just a few days and the hotel helped me arrange it.

Is October a Good Time to Visit Rhodes?

I’m considering a trip to Rhodes this October because I found a really good deal on flights, and now I’m trying to decide if I should go for it!

I’ve been looking into the weather, but I’d love to hear from people who have actually visited Rhodes in October. Is it still warm enough to spend time at the beach and swim, or does the weather start becoming unpredictable by then? I don’t necessarily need extremely hot weather, but I would like some sunshine and nice days for exploring.

I’m also wondering what Rhodes is like that time of year in terms of restaurants, shops, attractions, and crowds. Are most things still open, especially in Rhodes Town and Lindos?

Would you recommend visiting Rhodes in October, or is it better to save the trip for earlier in the season?

This is priceless. one lot phoned the night before to say they had forgotten an appointment at hairdressers. their loss. we do not expect a lot just a contribution towards our lunch.

How do I start using a manual concrete mixer efficiently for DIY projects?

Picked up a manual concrete mixer for some weekend DIY stuff, but wow, I'm realizing I have no clue if I'm using it in a smart way or just wasting energy. I figured it would be simple, but the mix keeps coming out lumpy or too soupy, and I'm starting to feel like the weak link here is... me. If anyone has tips on getting a smooth mix, pacing myself, or just not making a giant mess every time, I'd love to hear it. I really want to get better at this before I start my patio project.
