Sunsets are the absolute best reason to visit Santorini. One of my favourite places on the island is Oia village, that's where the best hotels and restaurants are and usually where most of the tourists congregate to spend their time and to watch the sunsets. The sunsets in Santorini are so beautiful that some people will even clap because it truly feels like the sun is giving you a special performance. Enjoy

The sunsets on Santorini are truly spectacular. Some of the best in Greece! This video was stunning!

Taking a Boat Tour of Santorini?

I am really excited about my trip to Santorini and wanted to do something different. Was thinking of a boat tour! However, with so many options available, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and would love to hear from those who have experienced boat tours in Santorini before.

I'm particularly interested in hearing about your recommendations for boat tour companies or specific tours that stood out to you. Whether it's a catamaran cruise, a traditional Greek wooden boat excursion, or a luxury yacht experience, I'm open to all suggestions!

What were the highlights of your boat tour? Did you visit iconic landmarks like the volcanic hot springs, the famous Red Beach, or the picturesque island of Thirassia? How was the overall experience in terms of service, safety, and value for money?

Also, any tips or advice on booking the tour, such as the best time of day to go, whether morning, afternoon, or sunset, would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure I choose the right tour that fits my preferences and budget.

Tips for Exploring Oia

I'm planning a trip to Santorini and I'm particularly excited about exploring Oia. I've heard it's one of the most beautiful and iconic spots on the island, with its stunning sunsets and charming streets.

I'd love to get some tips from those who have been there. Here are a few things I'm curious about:
  • Best viewpoints and locations to watch the sunset
  • Recommended cafes or restaurants with a great view
  • Must-see attractions and hidden gems in Oia
  • Tips for avoiding crowds and finding peaceful spots
  • Any suggestions for unique activities or experiences in Oia
  • Recommendations for local shops or markets to visit
  • Advice on the best time of day to explore and take photos
I appreciate any insights or advice you can share to help make my visit to Oia unforgettable. Looking forward to your suggestions!

Advice for Santorini Nightlife?

I'm planning a trip to Santorini soon and would love some recommendations on where to experience the best nightlife. I've heard the island has a lot to offer, from beach bars to nightclubs, but I'd appreciate some personal insights on must-visit spots.

Specifically, I'm interested in:
  • Beach Bars: Any cool places where I can enjoy a drink with a seaside view?
  • Nightclubs: Where are the best places to dance the night away?
  • Unique Experiences: Any hidden gems or local favorites that I shouldn't miss?
  • Dress Codes: Are there any dress codes or etiquette tips I should be aware of?
Thanks in advance for sharing your tips and experiences! Looking forward to an unforgettable time in Santorini.

Santorini Volcano Tour?

I'm planning a trip to Santorini and am really interested in taking a volcano tour. I've read a bit about the different options available, but I would love to hear some personal experiences and advice from those who have done it.

Is it worth it to take a guided tour, or is it easy enough to explore on your own by renting a boat? Also, are there any specific tours or companies you'd recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help! Looking forward to hearing your recommendations.

Art classes in Santorini?

When I have been to Santorini in the past, I see a lot of artists painting. Many, I am sure, are just going there to paint. I don't blame them. I am wondering if there are classes!

I’m looking for recommendations on:
  1. Art Schools or Studios: Any well-known places that offer quality art classes?
  2. Types of Classes: Are there specific courses focusing on painting, sketching, or even digital art?
  3. Instructor Experience: It would be great to learn from someone who is not only skilled but also familiar with the local scenery and can provide tips on capturing the essence of Santorini.
I am sure there are classes, retreats, that kind of thing. But I don't know where to start seeking them out. Thought I'd start here.
